About the ATTO Configuration Tool:
The ATTO Configuration Tool is a program that displays information about installed adapters, drivers and devices;
provides a mechanism to change NVRAM settings on ATTO adapters; and provides a mechanism to update the FLASH ROM
image. For the ExpressPCI UL3D, UL3S, UL5D LP, UL5D, UL4D and UL4S SCSI host adapters in Mac OS X 10.3 and later, the ATTO
Configuration Tool supports dynamic bus rescan capabilities that allow SCSI devices to be added to and removed
from the SCSI bus without rebooting. Rescan capabilities can be invoked from the ATTO Configuration Tool
'Advanced' tab.
The ATTO Configuration Tool helps you customize the settings of your ExpressSAS, Celerity and ExpressPCI host adapters
to maximize the performance of your storage connection. While the factory settings on your host adapter
should provide excellent performance for a wide range of applications, some specialized applications may
benefit from modification of the adapter settings to tune the adapter for a specific performance range.
